We are a dinghy racing club on the south coast of Fife, less than an hour from Edinburgh and Perth. The bay is sheltered, little affected by the tides and is reckoned to be one of the best sailing areas in Scotland. We have handicap racing on Sundays from March to October with an additional race on Wednesday evenings from May to the beginning of September.
There is an Open Regatta, usually in June, a Closed Regatta in August and five other trophy races which, along with the Series races, makes some 90 races per season.  New members are always welcome and we run an Open Day and training weekends throughout the year to allow people to experience all the benefits that our sport has to offer and allowing them a structured pathway into the activity.

Scottish Solos Review

18th and 19th May 2109

The Scottish Solo Championship was wrapped up this Sunday afternoon. Well done to Andy Davis for taking the title and a great run of results from Keith Milroy to pull himself up into 2nd place. Patience was the key on the Sunday morning as the race committee were very close to cancelling, but around 12.00 the wind finally steadied enough to get the final two races away.
Thanks to all the competitors for making the trip to LBSC once again and for all the volunteers on and off the water all weekend who helped the event go without a hitch.
